This split image photo shows on the left, an unidentified abandoned chemical in an old factory lab. It's the large one gallon glass jug on the bottom shelf. After being carefully removed from the building, it was countercharged and safely detonated in a controlled explosion. The ensuing fireball completely vaporized the chemical. This method rendered it safe in a matter of seconds.
